Grammy Always Said, “You Never Get Someth’en For Noth’en.”
It seems that the reasoning for Obama pushing to get high-speed internet to everyone in the USA is becoming clearer, as the FCC plans to push the takeover and taxing of the internet. We are now getting the picture of the FCC pushing for the internet to be moved form an Title One to a Title two Communications Act. This will put the internet under the same control as Television.
While some will see this as a good thing, it will give government active control over everything that is said seen, and written on the Net. This would quash free speech to the point that the final frontier of free communication will become another propaganda machine.
Now, part of the stimulus plan was to get free or low cost internet to everyone. As some of you read this, you might be saying to yourself, “This is a great thing internet for all.” Well, if you think that the government is watching all aspects of our lives now, “You ain’t seen noth’en yet.”
Obama’s plan will include funds to make public buildings more energy efficient, repair roads and bridges and modernize schools. His plan for schools is to repair aging buildings, make them energy efficient and install new computers in classrooms, he said. “To help our children compete in a 21st century economy, we need to send them to 21st century schools,” Obama said in the address.
The plan will also include rolling out broadband, both to places where it isn’t available and to health-care facilities, Obama said. It is “unacceptable” that the U.S. ranks 15th in the world in broadband adoption, according to Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), he said.
“Here, in the country that invented the Internet, every child should have the chance to get online, and they’ll get that chance when I’m president — because that’s how we’ll strengthen America’s competitiveness in the world,” he said.
Now there is a reason to watch the Healthcare Bill and how it is passed. Because, if it is allowed to pass the way they are going at it, all things can be passed against the will of the majority, and the Internet Takeover Bill is one bill that falls in that category.
Yes however. As I have seen in the past, people still believe you can get something for nothing. Just look at the popularity of infomercials. Talk to people who think that government is now giving money to them for free. Yea, some are getting it free, but there are others out there who are paying for it.
Some are grateful for the opportunity to get back on their feet, however there is a majority that feel it is owed to them. (Mostly members of the last generation.)
As I have said before, this is being called the push for socialism. However, anyone with a true understanding of a social form of government knows, the people will be crying for Socialism if this administration gets its way. So when you see people acting like people in the videos like the one below it is obvious they don’t understand, are greedy or just outright stupid.
