Real Time is Fast Becoming My Least Favorite Show.

February 2, 2008

Lastnight I managed to keep my eyes open long enough to catch “Real Time” On HBO(Home of Barack Obama.) Bill Maher’s guests were, Republican pollster Frank Luntz, Darrell Issa republican congressman, Kim Gandy, (President of N.O.W. and Chicago Tribune columnist, Clarence Page. However, the best guest every time he is on as the Real Time Reporter is Matt Taibbi, columnist for “The Rolling Stone”, and author of Smells Like Dead Elephants: Dispatches from a Rotting Empire.

the below video is the piece that Matt did for Maher on the “Spin Room” after the Democratic Debate. That is really what it is called. It is a room where all the reporters are kept during the Debates and the candidates send there PR people to spin what was said during the debate.

If you would like to see the Real Time show from last night, go to, TULLY CASTS The article continues below.

The thing that gets me about last nights show is that Maher let it be known that he was going with Obama. Now that in of its self is fine, however does this mean that Obama will be off limits on his show until the Democratic candidate is chosen? Will we see little to no criticism of Obama? Just so it is known, I don’t care personally one way or another, as I will be backing ???. I am looking at Cynthia McKinney, but have found some disturbing information.

Another thing that is really puzzling me about Bill Maher is why it is never brought up that the CFR is backing all of the candidates with the exception of Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, and Dennis Kucinich? By the way the media has all but done away with Ron Paul, like they did with Kucinich and Gravel.

There will never be a way that I could back a Neo-Con, which is what the so-called Republican candidates are. Even though McCain is more left of center than Hillary, he is the Chairman of The Committee for a strong Europe, the new cover of PNAC. So guess where that puts Hillary, not even on my list.
