Update: More News Vigilant Shield-08, Missing Nuke.

I was catching up on some reading of news articles that were given to me by people to check out, when I came across this Item.
Missing War HeadIt seems that there were six nukes on the B-52 that were on their way for use on Iran. But now there are only five.
What makes the B-52 incident even more disturbing is that six nuclear cruise missiles left Minot Air Force Base, and the initial Military Times report on September 5 reported that five nuclear warheads were discovered at Barksdale Air Force Base. This was subsequently revised by the Military Times to six in an updated story five days later on September 10.
Sorces say that the orders for this B-52 mission came from dick Cheney’s office and most likely Cheney himself. The way that it came to be goes totally against the chain of command.
The orders emanated from the office of the Vice President, and in particular Dick Cheney himself. Cheney’s orders were opposed all the way up the Department of Defense hierarchy including Admiral William Fallon, Commander of Central Command, and Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates.
What we have is Cheney showing once again that he will answer to no one. So, there you have it, Either it means something, or nothing at all as far as VS-08 is concerned. But I have put the information out there and the rest is up to you.

Jad3d: Link to that assertion? Bush put Cheney in charge of these drills. You may find info on it (and the fact that under Bush’s martial law plan a guy named Wainstein will become one of the most powerful men in the world).
Leiberman is hoping to be the next Cheney. No, he can’t be VP, but he can pull the strings. We have to keep him out.

How long before we see an “accident” at the Iranian national Nuclear plant? I could see one at about the same time as the winds shift from Israel to an easterly direction.

SAC hired illiterates who can’t use a caps key? May the Robot Hand smack your dumb ass. A real vet would have said “SAC”, the Air Force part needs no explication. Bet you’ll brag about being a tailgunner on an F-4 in the Aleutian campaign next.

The last I read they have said they found the 6th nuke. I dont know how true that is.
I have talked to a few Airmen that have said for this to have happen it was no mistake.

There have been more than several deaths of military men from that base before and after the incident, so I suspect this is not the first attempt made on those nukes. I believe six men have been killed from that base in the weeks surrounding that event.
Also, during this time period I recall Peter Pace giving a speech in which he said servicemen should not perform an illegal order. In hindsight, I wonder if he was speaking with this incident in mind. Shortly after that speech Bush made it known he would not recomment Pace for another “term.”
Steve Fossetts disappearance, IMO, is cover for the AF to conduct an all-out search for that missing nuke. The man in charge of looking for Fossett is the AF’s highest officer (in charge of Space!). Quite atypical for a man of that stature to be looking for a missing pilot.

Joe, my Canadian friends will be glad to know that,and yes Cheney is a madman. Cheney was put in charge of all military drills. So now there is fear that the missing nuke might show-up in one of the VS drills.

as for NUKES being loaded by ACCIDENT,
this is totally B.S. feed to the public.
the thing that was violated here was not the loading of NUKES, BUT flying them across the continential U.S.
THAT IS AGAINST MILTARY NUKE RULES.
at loring maine, we had B-52s sittin on the ready LOADED WITH NUKES!!!!!!
and the only people who knew which bombers had real ones…was the boys from ORINDANCE who loaded the planes.
also…..REAL NUKES and fake NUKES are not kept in the same bunker!!!!!!!!! yea…so how can you confuss them? the guy who load em KNOW WHICH IS WHICH.
if CHENEY had them load NUKES and fly them across the continential u.s. HE IS A MAD MAN.
the reason they dont do this is if a plane goes down with nukes on board…it would be in the U.S. at loring, 52s flew WITH NUKES ON BOARD….only OVER CANADA!!!!!!!
so this loading and moving NUKES to barksdale a.f.b. they also load NUKES on bombers there…….so it was not a mistake.
