Things to Come.

May 27, 2007

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear.” (Cicero – 42 B.C.)

In the not so distant future, we will find ourselves facing problems like we have never seen before. We will be faced with prices of food and produce increasing. It is getting harder to trust the meat that we buy to be fit for consumption. With the population numbers being what they are, the welcome mat for those from other counties has been all but rolled up.

The administration that now sets in the White House, has turned a blind eye to these problems in pursuit of a New Type of World, a world in which the United States, Canada, and Mexico are one.

In trying to sell this plan, we will be told that it will be done as a vested interest for commerce. Then if that pitch does not receive the expected response, we will be told that it is for security. The reason that seems to be the only thing that the American people will bite on.

Ralph Nader admits he’s already seen the printing presses that will before long start up printing out the new AMERO dollar – in anticipation of devaluing the current Federal Reserve Note (dollars) – and that many are saying the “exchange” will amount to about 55-cents on the current Fed dollar.
This all in the works for the coming North American Union, consisting of the US, Mexico and Canada, by erasing our borders.

As I was discussing the borders and illegal immigration with my neighbor one day it struck me. “These bastards don’t want to stop the flow, and they don’t want to shut the borders because it will mean they will have to back-track on the plan of the North American Union.”

There are secret meetings between the Bush administration and Democratic leaders taking place on a Fast Track Bill, also called Trade Promotion Authority.
By secret I mean that anything in the meetings is not too told of outside the doors. We know that the meetings are taking place.

Fast Track, also known as Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), gives the president the authority to negotiate international trade agreements, allowing for the expansion of privileges and protections for big business at the expense of workers, family farms, the environment and democracy at home and around the world.

There is nothing in the Fast-Track Bill that is beneficial to the citizenry of the United States. Workers rights will no longer exist under this Act.

U.S. TRADE LAWS Provisions designed to protect U.S. trade laws were stripped out of the final version. The Dayton-Craig Amendment would have allowed the Senate to vote separately on changes to U.S. trade laws, but the final bill gutted the amendment and does not allow for this. The same U.S. laws steelworkers recently used to fight unfair trade will be put on the chopping block by U.S. negotiators.

DEMOCRATIC PROCESS The U.S. Constitution gives Congress exclusive authority Ato regulate Commerce with foreign Nations. (Article I-8) Fast Track, however, delegates this congressional authority away to the Executive Branch. Fast Track GIVES AWAY CONGRESS’ RIGHT to vote on trade agreements BEFORE they are signed, amend completed trade agreements before they are passed, and limits congressional debate on such agreements to only 20 hours. This bill creates a historic shift in Congress’ Constitutional prerogative to regulate not just foreign commerce, but domestic commerce as well.

Just a little off the topic, with all of the Bills passed by the 109th congress, your rights have never been in so much danger. From the Patriot Act revisions to the Fast Track, you can see that all the powers are being handed over to the Executive Branch and that should throw the nation as a whole in to a panic.
