It is Hard to Believe These Types are still Out There.

Hearing Bush is an honor

This is in regard to the letter, “Bush has nothing to say.” It is a real shame that so many people can live in the greatest nation on earth, yet they don’t have a clue what is really going on. They just believe everything the media has to say.
I only wish I had a son or daughter who had the honor of having George Bush speak at their commencement exercises. But, you see, I have something much more honorable in that I have a son in the Air National Guard and a son-in-law in the Army National Guard, and President Bush is their commander in chief. He is truly a man of honesty and integrity and, lest I forget, a born-again Christian. It is so sad that many people’s rose-colored glasses don’t allow them to see that my president stands head and shoulders above his predecessors.

Washington Pa.

The above is one of the many letters that I see on the editorial page of the local paper on a weekly basis. This is example goes to show that there are still people out there who are snowballed by the Neo-Cons and their ability to hold people that are less informed or decided to close their eyes, and make the evil will go away. There in lies the bigger problem, it does not go away, because as long as you have people that speak the hate that a Hannity, O’Reily or even a Jim Quinn speak over the airwaves, you will find this type of person. The type of person that believes this is (To steal a line from Hannity) “This is not about right and left. This is about right and wrong.” We must ask ourselves, do we want to be ruled by a government of men, or a government of laws. I am speaking of the laws that these very men break on a daily basis.

In her letter Bonnie says that in her opinion, George W. Bush is a man of honesty, and integrity. She also mentions that her son is in the National Guard, and her Son-in-law is in the Army Reserve. This could have something to do with how she feels about this man. (What ever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night.) It is apparent that she has not heard, or decided to shutout the report that was released by the Pentagon that states, Saddam Hussein had no ties to Al Qaeda , and the various other reports that tell of the lies that were used to invade Iraq. These are the type of people that we must show that the administration is no working for the best interest of the citizenry. We must show them, the mouth pieces of the administration, like Hannity and Limbaugh, are not looking out for them, but are only worried about their interest.

I have said it many times in the last few weeks, the Neo-Cons have found that a division by hate works best to their advantage, and they will continue capitalize on it as long as we allow them.

There was a time I used to feel sorry for the likes of Bonnie, steeped in ignorance as she is, but that time has past. After 6 years of the Bush administration, such ignorance can only be willful (deliberate) and is thus inexcusable. To bury one’s head in the sand, or so far up their own asses takes work and purpose and makes one an accomplice to the crimes of Bushco.
