A Secret, but Not So Surprising War with Iran

April 4, 2007

If you know anything about this government, you won’t find it shocking that they are funding a militant group out of Pakistan to try and dismantle the Iranians.

It is known that Saddam rose to power with the help of the United States, and that Bin laden came about in the same manor. It has been done for many years, you fund a terrorist group that you think will do your bidding for you. The problem is that down the road you wined up fighting them, because you have helped them gain power.

Last night ABC News air a report by Brian Ross on the “Secret War with Iran.” Today the are simply outraged. Most of the comments are along the lines of, “The administration would not do such a thing.” As I said before the U.S. government has been doing this for years, and this administration is no different, in fact they are worse.

The U.S. has been founding both sides of wars since the beginning of the country. G.W. Bush’s grandfather Prescott Bush, backed Hitler before the courts stopped him. So last nights report came as no great surprise to me, knowing our sorted past.

A Pakistani tribal militant group responsible for a series of deadly guerrilla raids inside Iran has been secretly encouraged and advised by American officials since 2005, U.S. and Pakistani intelligence sources tell ABC News.

The group, called Jundullah, is made up of members of the Baluchi tribe and operates out of the Baluchistan province in Pakistan, just across the border from Iran.

Tribal sources tell ABC News that money for Jundullah is funneled to its youthful leader, Abd el Malik Regi, through Iranian exiles who have connections with European and Gulf states.

The U.S. has military bases located in that area. I have spoken with 4 soldiers that were stationed in that region and they new nothing of this, or they just could not speak of it.

This is just one more breaking piece of news in a short period that points to an attack on Iran in coming days, or weeks. It also shows this administrations willingness to try and provoke a confrontation with Iran.

We will find that if there is an attack, it will not be for the reasons given by the administration and its allies, but for some of the real reasons Bush went into Iraq. Oil, the control of the flow of that oil, Control of Natural Gas, and Gold.

We have to remember not to buy into the false reasons give for a possible attack on any country in this region. It is all about the resources.
