Deafened Nation

March 7, 2007

I have slowed down on the blogging due the fact that I had become burnt out. That is not entirely true, the whole thing is falling apart right in front of the world and God and we can only stand-bye and watch. It seems no matter what the blogisphear writes on we are dismissed as not the real media. That is unless you are praising the Administration, and their plan to get millions of people killed in an all out attack on the world, or at least those who do not follow the needs of The United States of PNAC. You might also get a mention if you tell the truth about the administration, because then you are labeled a Moon-Bat and used as an example of the Wacko Left. Read on>>>

Starting Anew

Yesterday all of the Cable and Network news cast were dedicated to the Scooter Libby verdict and how it would affect the White House, if at all.

The trial was a waste of time and money, in my opinion. Nothing was resolved other than Libby lie under oath, and he obstructed justice. If you saw the Fox Noise Network, You might have seen the caption under Brit Humme that read, “Libby Found Not Guilty of Lying to FBI Investigators.” The outright spin is enough to make you throw your hands up and say, “Why bother?”

Spin MachineFox Noise

We are not going to find the real crimes, at least for now. Joe Wilson, and his wife Valerie (Plame)-Wilson, have filed Civil Suit against the key players in the scandal. If all goes according to plan, we may learn from the documents and the transcripts of the Libby trail. By the time this comes about Libby will have been pardoned by Bush, and a new person will be in power. In other words, “Don’t hold your breath.”

On a Positive Note

Of course, it is a positive for the Bush Administration. The public has no legal proof that the Bush/Cheney cabal lied to go to war, or were involved in outing Valerie Plame. Yes, the suspicions are there, and we pretty much know that is how it went down, but it is not on paper.

One good thing that came from this I guess is, it did not cost the taxpayer as much as the Headhunting expedition the Republicans went on gunning for Bill Clinton.

Off the Table

Before the Democrats even official claimed the place of power, Nancy Pelosi said, impeachment was of the table, and so was cutting funds for the war. I have written about this before and I have the same question I had then. WHY? What she did was tell the administration that they would not have to worry about the crimes in their past. At that point, I feel the Democrats might as well have packed it in and gone home. Wait, I think they did.

Why is it every time someone says, the Democratic congress is fast becoming the do nothing Congress, we get the same old statement, “They have only been in for (Insert no. of months here____.”) We are finding out that they might have actually won because, “They were not Republicans. Yes, that would be a shame.

I am not so blind that I do not see what they are doing. They are trying not to do anything that will hurt their chances of landing the White House in 2008. I feel by using that strategy they will lose the White House. The number one issue right now is Iraq and the possibility of military action against Iran. No matter what the media tires to tell the people. The country is growing tired of the war more everyday. They want it ended, like yesterday.

Did I Just Hear Bush Say he Ordered 20,000 More Troops to Iraq? On 3-6-07

As I was listening to a speech by George W. Bush yesterday at the V.A., I swear he said that he ordered 20’000 additional troops to Iraq. That would be on top of the Surge number.
U.S. Department of State

This changed the nature of the conflict in Iraq. We still faced the threat from al Qaeda, but the sectarian violence was getting out of hand, and threatened to destroy this young democracy before it had a chance to succeed. So last fall, I ordered my national security team to conduct a comprehensive review of our strategy in Iraq. We devised an approach that is markedly different from previous efforts. This approach demands more from Iraq’s elected government, makes bringing security to Baghdad our top priority, and gives our troops the reinforcements they need to carry out their missions. And to carry out this strategy, I put in place a highly-regarded commander, an expert on counterinsurgency — General David Petraeus.
General Petraeus’ mission is to help Iraq’s leaders implement the plan that they developed to secure Baghdad. Today they can’t do this on their own. So I have ordered reinforcements of more than 20,000 additional combat soldiers and Marines to Iraq. The majority will go to Baghdad, where they will help Iraqi forces to clear and secure neighborhoods, and where they will partner with Iraqi units. The Iraqis in the lead, our forces will help secure the city by chasing down the terrorists, insurgents, and murderers, and roaming death squads.

Yes, this was yesterday. Bush is showing the New Congress that under the War powers Act, he will do what he wants. Just a thought before I go. “Is George W. Bush, Sending troops to Iraq, to build up for Iran?” The Congress said they would fight him on Iran, so why not lie and build it up in Iraq. Just food for thought.

Fox news is a joke- that is why I work with a few groups to boycott them! They are a propaganda machine for George W. Bush …the others aren’t much better but at least they are not so fucking sick like Fox News is.

I know how you feel Aba…why bother? I got burnt out too on blogging the politics and talking the politics…there doesn’t seem to be anyone coming to help us out Aba with this dicator we are dealing with. May God have mercy on those who attempted to stop the maddness.
