Breaking News: Government Finds Way Around Porn Laws.

December 2, 2006

Our privacy is totally gone if these X-ray machines are to be allowed to be used in airports. A new x-ray machine is going too placed in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport just in time for the holidays. The machines are made by Rapiscan security systems, and are designed to look underneath the clothes at the body of the person in front of it. One good thing may come from this people may hit the gym in order to look good in the buff. Read on. >>>

Story

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is about to become the first airport in the country to test a controversial new federal screening system that takes exceptionally clear X-rays of the human body in an effort to find concealed explosives and other weapons.

This will be a good job for all the perverts in the security ranks at the airports across the nation. All joking aside, where does the government get off using the machines, and what is next a x-ray machine that dose a cavity search?

How far are we willing to let this administration go, for a false sense of security? This is onetime the Neo-Cons are right that is you have nothing to hide; you have nothing to worry about. Well maybe some snickers or if you are lucky some wows.

Here is some good news I guess, not all will have to go through the machine.

The security agency’s Web site indicates that the technology will be used initially as a secondary screening measure, meaning that only those passengers who first fail the standard screening process will be directed to the X-ray area.

Even then, passengers will have the option of choosing the backscatter or a traditional pat-down search.

A handful of other U.S. airports will have the X-rays machines in place by early 2007 as part of a nationwide pilot program, officials said.

Barry Steinhardt, hit the nail on the head and anyone who says this will not happen is foolish or just plain stupid.

It’s absolutely predictable that as this technology becomes commonplace, you’re going to start seeing those images all over the Internet,” Steinhardt said.

But the agency argues that it has taken the necessary precautions to prevent that from happening.

“It’s my understanding that this is the latest and best version (of the technology), and it meets our (country’s) standards for privacy,” Armes said.

What freaking country is this person from?

“It’s my understanding that this is the latest and best version (of the technology), and it meets our (country’s) standards for privacy,” Armes said.

I have always thought that in the United States you could not take photos of people nude, without permission. I see all kind of lawsuits coming on this, and I will be the first if they use this on me, or any member of my family.

If you want to know what the TSA has to say about the Back Scatter machine and take a look at drawings that they say will be what the screener sees, Keith Olbermann placed a real view of what the screener sees of the female, and it is revealing. TSA No matter how they try to sugar coat this it is a huge invasion of privacy. One that we need to put an end to or they will be screening us in the subways, walking into buildings, and getting on the bus, all in the name of terror.

The thing that really should make you take notice is the government has been monitoring its own citizens. Yea, we just went through the eavesdropping and now this. The Bush administration has been setting up a terrorist watch list on the citizens of the United States by the way they fly, eat, where they sit while on a plane, where and how they drive.

They have been doing this for sometime since 9-11-01, and the screwed up thing about it, you cannot see your record, or fight it. Oh yea, they will keep it for 40 years.

Can you say Orwellian?
